Ananta: Multiplayer Breakdown from File Analysis
Analysis of the game files has revealed everything related to multiplayer. The main takeaway: Ananta is not an MMO in the style of GTA Online, where hundreds of players roam a shared world. Instead, it features structured sessions for 2–4 players with an advanced matchmaking system.
The entire game is divided into separate “raids” — closed instances that players enter and leave individually. You won’t run into random strangers in the open world — each session exists independently. The standard team size is 4 players.
The matchmaking system considers not only player level, but also device performance. The idea is to group players with similar FPS into the same session. There’s also a blacklist feature, allowing you to block unwanted players.
Multiplayer modes:
- Private room: play with friends via invite
- Public room: matchmaking with random players
- Team match: search via matchmaking system
- Solo with NPC companions: play alone with AI support
Important: This breakdown is based on files from a past beta, where online features were not yet active — only single-player mode was available. All described mechanics reflect the current state of the project and may change significantly before release.
